What are three reasons to choose Management Consulting as a career option right after college?
There are a wide range of reasons to pick this field. I'll highlight these three:
1. Very steep learning curve: You learn something new on a daily basis. As you research and problem solve, you expand on your understanding and expertise.
2. Exposure across different industries: As you shift from one project to another, you get to work across many different industries, giving you a very wide exposure.
3. Excellent exit options: Consulting jobs form pathway to top tier B-schools, PEs, VCs, direct jobs in specific industries, and a lot of other avenues.
As a student, you should at least consider consulting as a career pathway.
